The Quriyat Mountain Bike Challenge 2026 takes riders on an unforgettable journey through the spectacular landscapes of Quriyat, combining coastal roads, desert terrain, gravel sections, rolling hills, and rugged mountain roads.
Whether you are chasing the challenge, testing your endurance, or simply looking for an incredible cycling adventure, this challenge offers the perfect combination of competition, adventure, scenery, and community.
Location: Quriyat, Sultanate of Oman
Discipline: Mountain Bike Marathon (XCM)
Course Distance: Approximately 90 km
Total Climbing: Approximately 1300 m
Difficulty: Intermediate to Advanced
Terrain: Asphalt roads, hard-packed gravel, coastal sections, rolling hills, and mountain roads
Rider Arrival: 5:00 AM
Race Briefing: 5:30 AM
Race Start: 5:45 AM
⚠️ Important: All riders are required to arrive at the starting point by 5:00 AM to attend the official Start up Briefing before the challenge starts.
The challenge begins near the beautiful coastline of Quriyat and takes riders through a diverse mix of landscapes that showcase the natural beauty of the region.
Expect a course that combines fast sections, rolling terrain, challenging climbs, flowing descents, and long endurance sections—requiring riders to manage their energy, pacing, and equipment throughout the race.

📍 Riders are encouraged to review the route and download/save the GPS file before challenge day.
Rider support will be provided along the course to help participants stay hydrated and maintain their energy throughout the challenge.
Depending on the final course and operational requirements, support may include:
The location and number of refueling/support stations are not yet final and may be adjusted based on the final course, safety requirements, and event operations.
The final refueling station plan will be communicated and discussed during the official Race Briefing before the event.
Riders are therefore advised not to rely solely on the planned refueling stations and should carry sufficient personal hydration and nutrition for the course.
All participants are responsible for arriving properly equipped and prepared for the challenge.
